Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America's fallen or disabled service members and first responders. Funds can be used toward K–12 private school tuition, including at St. Mary's.
A student is eligible if their service-member or first-responder parent was killed in the line of duty, died while on active duty, or suffered a qualifying disability (a Purple Heart, loss of limb, or 10%+ service-connected VA disability rating).
Scholarship awards are up to $5,000, not to exceed $2,500 (minimum payment of $100) per term.
If, after submitting a check in it is determined that the awardee has an unmet need of less than $2,500, Folds of Honor will only disburse the student’s actual unmet need, based on their school account balance.
Remaining funds will be retained by Folds of Honor and may be utilized by the student at another payment term within the same academic year.
