Welcome to K–5th Grade Spanish!
Bienvenidos!
We are excited to welcome you and your children to a new school year of Spanish learning! This year brings an exciting development to our language program, as Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade now have two sections, A and B. With the addition of these new sections, our Spanish program is growing, and I am pleased to be working alongside Mrs. Juliette Biar, to provide our students with a fun and engaging language-learning experience.
Throughout the year, students will have many opportunities to develop their Spanish language skills through interactive activities, songs, games, videos, and classroom practice. Students will also use a textbook and workbook from the Descubre el Espanol Program to support their learning.
In addition, students will have access to the IXL Spanish program, which provides opportunities to practice and reinforce the vocabulary and skills introduced in class.
We are looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, discovery, and lots of fun in Spanish! We are excited to see our students grow in confidence as they explore a new language and culture.
